::ROLLING EYES:: big time!!!
I can't tell if grandma's nervous or excited or apprehensive. But I do know she's driving us NUTS!!!
First, she didn't want to move. Then, once she decided to move she got all excited. Told everyone she's moving. Grandma was/is in "Let's hurry up and get this thing done!" mode. She couldn't wait to get boxes. The boxes we took her to help her pack that she said she'd do it later with. She didn't want our help or our plan.
Now she's grumpy. Grumpy?! Grumpy AND bossy. I think she's tired and over-stimulated. Last week was Queen Grandma week with all the celebrations and a funeral and a beauty shop visit. She's coming down off that tiara and sheet cake high.
She's upset that no one is helping her pack. She's doing this all by herself.
E-X-C-UUUUUUU-S-E ME!?!?!?!?!
We were just up there with a PLAN to help you box things up and go through things for your GARAGE SALE and you didn't want our help. NOW you're going to complain that no one is helping you?! good. grief. Grandma should go eat an Magnum ice cream bar. That will make her feel better. It's not like she doesn't have any!! LOL
It will not take long to box up the stuff she's taking. We could get it done in a half a day max.
My aunt is hiring a moving company to come load her up and move her down her.
We've all been up in the last week trying to help. How is she doing this by herself?
::head desk::
I totally understand this is stressful for her. Moving. Leaving her friends. All her activities. Change is hard. But she's not doing it alone AND she's moving closer to family that want her close so we can take care of her. I don't blame her. Who wants to spend time with us? /snark.
I can't wait to see what mood Grandma Sybil has next week. I'm hopeful.
Maybe I should start a contest to guess grandma's mood. We could give away her stuff. /snort.
